I recently saw this for the first time in YEARS. At first I was thinking, what the H*E*double hockey sticks was I thinking? But I'll be darned. This movie grew on me. I'll go so far as to say this is one of those bad movies that are so bad, they are actually pretty good. Presented in BRIGHT Psychadelic colors, one can't help but notice how cheaply this movie was made. Notice the backgrounds? Full of swirling clouds. Easier to create than the elaborate mattes being created by the Star Wars gang. The musical group Queen's score takes a bit of getting used to, but it fits the comic book presentation perfectly. Lines like "Flash, I love you!! But we've only go fourteen hours to save the world!" aren't quite enough to put this over the top. Still, all-in-all it's good fun.
